As a child I remember *insisting* on pink carpet in my bedroom of our new family home. Then I spent ages searching for The. Perfect. Bedspread. Does this sound like the genesis of an interior designer? Looking back, I couldn’t be more certain this is my purpose.


I’ve taken a few different paths though, like international business. I’ve lived in middle America, all over the western states. and even in Spain…in addition to lots of travel.  There are themes that connect my experience: insatiable curiosity, relentless care for my clients and a passion for understanding and improving how folks live in diverse environments. A discerning eye, a head for all the details and a heart for people. It all led me to my work as an interior designer spanning the last 20 years.  I have trained under Kami Gray of Kami Gray Interiors and completed a Certificate course at Psychologie of Home Design School.

My designs combine a warm modern aesthetic with antiques and elements sourced while traveling.  And I am not afraid of color!  I always start in the same way. Always. Asking a million questions, finding out about you. Your wants and your needs, your loves and your dislikes. Your lifestyle. I’m learning what’s meaningful to you, and what you want your space to say about you.  I have a talent for seeing the untapped potential in your home’s architecture as well.


My ideal interior design client is an individual who appreciates the value of personalized, elevated and timeless design without compromising on quality and creativity. This client possesses trust in my expertise and approaches the process with kindness, embracing a respectful and joyful collaboration. I will be my client’s staunchest advocate and treat their home and budget as if they were my own.

We began working with Alison near the end of our kitchen remodel, which was turning into a total living area remodel. Our remodeling team did a great job, but when it came to where to put our furniture, and if should we keep our furniture, and where to hang our artwork, we were stymied! We interviewed several interior designers, but Alison immediately stood out when she contacted us the day after we interviewed her to tell us her thoughts about our backsplash tile choices, even though we hadn’t hired her yet.
