I’m drawn to natural materials, interesting textures, pieces with some history and the way our intense desert light changes a room throughout the day. But I don’t begin a project with a predetermined look.
I begin with the people who will live there.
The architecture matters. The setting matters. And so do the small routines that make up everyday life. The result should feel collected rather than decorated and comfortable rather than precious.

How much does it cost to work with an interior designer?
Every project is different, so my design fees depend on the scope and complexity of the work. Kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, new construction and furnishings projects all require different levels of design involvement.
The first step is Project Discovery, an in-home meeting of up to 90 minutes. The fee is $500.
What is Project Discovery?
Project Discovery is an in-home meeting of up to 90 minutes, entirely focused on you and your project. I’ll learn how you live, what you’d like to change and what you want the finished home to feel like.
We’ll talk through your priorities, challenges and ideas, and I’ll help you begin to define the best path forward. Project Discovery also gives me the understanding I need to prepare a bespoke proposal for the design services your project requires.
The fee for Project Discovery is $500.
Do you work with my architect, builder or remodeling contractor?
Yes. I regularly collaborate with architects, builders and contractors throughout the design and construction process. If you already have your team in place, I’m happy to work with them. If you don’t, I can help you determine who else your project may need.
What areas do you serve?
I work with clients throughout Tucson, Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, Vail and the surrounding Pima County area. I also regularly work with clients who are building or remodeling here but don’t yet live in Tucson full time, including seasonal residents and clients relocating to the area.
Video meetings and technology make it easy to stay connected and keep decisions moving when you’re not in town. When you are here, we make good use of our time together.
For the right project, I’m also happy to travel.
Can you help with kitchen and bathroom remodels?
Yes. Kitchen and bathroom design are a significant part of my work. I can help with space planning, cabinetry, materials, plumbing fixtures, lighting and the many decisions that need to work together before construction begins.
Do you offer furnishings-only design?
Yes. I work on furnishings projects for individual rooms as well as entire homes. This can include furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, textiles, art and accessories, with each selection considered as part of the whole.
How long does an interior design project take?
Timelines vary considerably depending on the scope of the project. A furnishings project may take several months, while a renovation or new construction project can take considerably longer. I’ll talk with you about timing and expectations once I understand the scope of your project.
