Alison River is a remarkably talented interior decorator who was the miraculous angel who took it upon herself to create a personal sanctuary in my home after a broken pipe led to a flood and a need to recreate my bedrroom, bathroom, closets, floors, and more. What was a nightmarish burden turned into a joyful adventure where my fondest dreams became realities. Alison has a delightful personality who made me feel like I was royalty!! She offered a generous amount of her time to get to know me in such detail that she got to know my taste in every facet of my life . For example, she created gorgeous pillow to go with lovely chairs that included my favorite colors, patterns, and even personal hobbies. Alison also offered excellent guidance to help me find the right vendors for each step of the way. With respect to the cost of working with Alison, while I do not know what other decorators charge, I can only say that her prices were fair and that I felt that every penny was more than well worth it. We began working with Alison near the end of our kitchen remodel, which was turning into a total living area remodel. Our remodeling team did a great job, but when it came to where to put our furniture, and if should we keep our furniture, and where to hang our artwork, we were stymied! We interviewed several interior designers, but Alison immediately stood out when she contacted us the day after we interviewed her to tell us her thoughts about our backsplash tile choices, even though we hadn’t hired her yet. Her idea was absolutely on target, and that helped us decide to use her as our design specialist. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with her as we moved through the completion of our project. Cheerfully collaborative and enthusiastic, Alison presented several alternatives for consideration in every decision. The final product is nothing less than stunning, and the process was so easy once Alison took charge.
